Loading ...Ara farà cosa de quatre anys, vaig poder assistir en una conferència sobre la situació cultural a Occitània, però no ha sigut fins ara, aprofitant l’avinentesa d’aquesta Setmana Santa, que hi he pogut fer una escapada. Reconec que la meva desconeixença sobre aquesta nació, era i és bastant gran, per posar un exemple, no sabia que la ciutat de Tolousse, on vam estar dormint, es deia Tolosa en Occità. El més greu de tot, no és la meva ignorància, sinó l’esforç que vaig haver de fer per aprendre-ho. Una ciutat, on l’occità ha sigut esborrat del mapa com si d’un escrit a la sorra es tractés. Va ser en un museu de Tolosa, on vaig poder veure el topònim estampat en un quadre, segurament devia tenir massa valor per excloure’l de l’exposició. En canvi, la bandera si que està present al llarg de la ciutat, llàstima que la bandera del país sigui la mateixa que la de la ciutat, una situació similar a la del País Valencià.
Durant l’estança, vam poder visitar el Centre Cultural Occità a Albí, i poder gaudir d’una conversa interessant amb un occitano-parlant al Casal Occità de Tolosa. Vam conèixer l’existència d’escoles d’educació primària en occità a l’estil “Bressoles”, la ignorància que rep la cultura occitana per part de l’administració i de l’últim pas endavant per l’occità, la traducció dels carrers principals de Tolosa. Malauradament vam trobar tancada la Taverna occitana de Tolosa i no vam poder degustar la cuina i l’ambient occità.

Jo també era bastant ignorant sobre la situació de la cultura occitana, ignorada i menyspreada aquesta per l’Estat francès. Sort que no han aconseguit esborrar-la, i la podem descobrir i conèixer-la encara.
